The Evening Unfolds
5:00 PM – Hotel Pickup
Your driver collects you from your Marrakech accommodation. The relaxing 30-minute drive through the Moroccan countryside builds anticipation as the landscape opens up to reveal the vast Agafay terrain with the Atlas Mountains as a stunning backdrop.
5:30 PM – Arrival & Welcome Ceremony
Arrive at our desert camp and receive a traditional Moroccan welcome. Your hosts greet you with rose water hand washing and guide you to comfortable seating on plush cushions and carpets. Traditional mint tea and freshly made pastries are served as you take in the beautiful surroundings.
6:00 PM – Sunset Viewing & Photography
Watch the spectacular Agafay sunset from our elevated terrace. As the sun descends toward the Atlas Mountains, the desert landscape transforms through golden, orange, and pink hues. This is a photographer's dream moment — take your time to capture the magic.
6:45 PM – Traditional Moroccan Dinner
As the lanterns are lit and the camp glows warmly against the twilight sky, dinner is served. Begin with a spread of traditional Moroccan salads — zaalouk, taktouka, and fresh garden salad with warm khobz bread. The main course features your choice of slow-cooked lamb tagine, chicken tagine with preserved lemons, or vegetable couscous. Dessert brings sweet pastries, fresh seasonal fruits, and more mint tea.
7:45 PM – Live Music & Dance Show
The entertainment builds gradually from ambient Berber guitar and singing to energetic group drumming. Professional dancers perform traditional Moroccan styles including Chaabi and Berber folk dance. The highlight is a mesmerizing belly dance performance that captivates the audience.
8:30 PM – Fire Show Spectacular
The climax of the evening arrives with a breathtaking fire show. Skilled performers twirl flaming batons, dance with fire fans, and create spectacular visual displays against the dark desert sky. The combination of fire, music, and starlight creates a truly unforgettable atmosphere.
9:00 PM – Stargazing & Return
As the show concludes, take a moment to look up at the incredibly clear desert sky filled with stars — far from city light pollution. Your driver then returns you comfortably to your hotel, arriving around 9:30 PM.
